Social Entrepreneurship Forum 2019

How to turn an idea and desire to help the world into successful entrepreneurship? Can social entrepreneurship be profit yielding business? Those are the most topical issues that challenge social entrepreneurs not only in Latvia but in the whole world. Find the answers to these questions at the Social Entrepreneurship Forum 2019 dedicated to the topic BUSINESS MODELS, as the key for any successful business is a well-considered business model.

Forum will start with inspiring world experience stories on various, innovative social entrepreneurship models and on how important in social entrepreneurship is cooperation with a traditional business. In the second part of the Forum we will work practically in three work groups, that will give unique opportunity to look into the “wardrobes” of Latvian social enterprises — in reality getting to know business models and externally not so visible everyday life. Representatives from a traditional business will take part in work groups by having an aim to develop cooperation between social and traditional enterprises and provide entrepreneurial knowledge based on experience. The forum will conclude with a presentation competition or pitch by social enterprises for investments of 2000 EUR. The winner will be determined by audience vote.
